CCM membership card designs

Although graduated, I am now still in a phase of getting ready for Semester One uni orientation. Certainly I miss uni life heaps! This year we are going to have the more flash plastic membership cards. Unfortunately, due to consideration on cost only few colours could be used on the card, but that's more than enough. Below is the agreed design.

I am also working on the Sponsor Certificate at the moment, the one below is trail one. Thanks to Mac and Photoshop as the one inspires and the other one simply deliver results! I certainly had fun playing both of them at the same time!

Party

A few came to our apartment to party, mainly the YA people...and they left just before 3am! Luckily tomorrow (today) is public holiday in conjunction with Chinese New Year Eve! Guess we will gather together again.

You know?

You know? January has finished already.

You know? I have been really lazy with updating the blog and posting photos lately.

You know? Our church officially started an afternoon service today.

You know? I changed the template of my blog today because I felt it ought to match firstly, the sunny summer season and secondly, my MBP ; )

You know? God moved powerfully at church today. "Breakthrough" is really an amazing theme for this year.

Back from Holiday

Yes, I am back from my 2-week holiday. I have been back to China, stopped over in Hongkong and also been to the other tourist city. It was quite a busy trip. Kathy and I had been eating lots with my family, relatives and old friends. Kobe & Bardee, the two dogs at my house always brought Kathy troubles. ^^;;

Oh, I won't forget another highlight of the trip - shopping! Yes, I finally obtained by dream laptop, Macbook Pro, and my Nikon's best flashlight, Speedlight800. After I obtained these 2 toys, others became just minor items...Hehe. And when I got back to the Auckland International Airport, there was a drama at the customs again this time. I almost got into trouble, I was glad that it's sorted so I didn't have to pay duties for my laptop. Phew...

Not matter where I've been too, the impression to me was it's blur...yes, because the weather had been constantly dry for a long time, the air lost its clarity. It's very foggy.

So overall how was the trip? Good and very busy, 2 weeks holiday just wasn't enough. I didn't get enough time to relax/enjoy myself much. Yes, to me shopping and dinners are tasks and sometimes they are not very enjoyable.

Btw, Apple just revealed its new laptop, Macbook Air, the world's thinnest laptop. I think it's probably too thin for high demand users. It's probably more suitable for females and talking business notes and presentation. It's too thin to be accepted by most people I think. It's also got lower specs and without the optical drive and relatively expensive too.

Life is full of Investments

When I am excited, I tend to blog more. It looks like I am about to realize some capital gain on my lens, giving me a gross financial return for approximately 28.5% in just about half a year, not to mention the enjoyment I gain from it during this period.

When doing investment, how well you exit plays an important role. In my case, I was investing in my little lens. : )

Recently I have been doing some project marketing stuff. Obviously, one of the important things would be photographs which I am super passionate about. Here are my attempts to produce "wideeeee" photos.

Another exciting news!

This news made my day! Just have a look at the photo...although my name is not in it because technically I am not an eligible participant. The photo was submitted couple of minutes before the deadline. ^_^

Japan Day 2007!

Today was quite a productive Sunday because I see the so many things that I have done.

Shepherding with sheep Colin
Because I recently have been busy with backup singing and also I have to spend time with Shingo at the same time, today I finally resumed shepherding with Colin. It was good!

Word for Life
WFL has been interesting in the recent weeks also. We got to go out and do "real things"-Action For Life! We have been to the Airport, hospital...what's next in Angela's class? Haha! It was my first time been to the Auckland Hospital by the way! Hope the patient will recover fully ASAP.

Japan Day
Highlight of the day is the annual Japan Day held in ASB Stadium.

You get to taste yummy food...
You get to see Southern Stars' performances...
You get to join them personally...

And fully indulge in their strong culture. Japanese people are very fun and full of passion, even Kathy cannot stand the itchiness of not to dance! And then 11 of us went to pre-celebrate the 2 Kevins' birthdays!

Welcome
