Life is full of Investments

When I am excited, I tend to blog more. It looks like I am about to realize some capital gain on my lens, giving me a gross financial return for approximately 28.5% in just about half a year, not to mention the enjoyment I gain from it during this period.

When doing investment, how well you exit plays an important role. In my case, I was investing in my little lens. : )

Recently I have been doing some project marketing stuff. Obviously, one of the important things would be photographs which I am super passionate about. Here are my attempts to produce "wideeeee" photos.

Another exciting news!

This news made my day! Just have a look at the photo...although my name is not in it because technically I am not an eligible participant. The photo was submitted couple of minutes before the deadline. ^_^

Japan Day 2007!

Today was quite a productive Sunday because I see the so many things that I have done.

Shepherding with sheep Colin
Because I recently have been busy with backup singing and also I have to spend time with Shingo at the same time, today I finally resumed shepherding with Colin. It was good!

Word for Life
WFL has been interesting in the recent weeks also. We got to go out and do "real things"-Action For Life! We have been to the Airport, hospital...what's next in Angela's class? Haha! It was my first time been to the Auckland Hospital by the way! Hope the patient will recover fully ASAP.

Japan Day
Highlight of the day is the annual Japan Day held in ASB Stadium.

You get to taste yummy food...
You get to see Southern Stars' performances...
You get to join them personally...

And fully indulge in their strong culture. Japanese people are very fun and full of passion, even Kathy cannot stand the itchiness of not to dance! And then 11 of us went to pre-celebrate the 2 Kevins' birthdays!

Auckland Museum Shots

I have been hoping to go to take some photos at Auckland Domain. And today finally I made this happen. Unfortunately when I got there the sun has almost set completely therefore I didn't capture much colour. Well here they are.

I eventually got to test my recently purchased ND Grad filter!

Tomorrow morning I will take some city views as part of the project marketing materials. Hopefully it will be good weather.

So exciting to hear this news although it passed the submission deadline. LOL. It was the photo of the golden harbour bridge!

By Kathy's name I participated this year's My Auckland Photo Competition.

"We're looking for photos that capture the mood and essence of Auckland, images that say something about the photographer's personal experience of the city. We're not expecting professional quality - the spirit and imagination with which the shot is taken is far more important. At the end of the day, Aucklanders will pick their favourite." - Matthew Williams, photographer and My Auckland judge

"A picture tells a thousand words"...but what kind of words? Due to the complexity of our human brain a picture may tell completely two different stories for two different persons. So having one photo for submission only, I really struggled with what to present, especially when no short description is required.

E

I quite like the letter "E" because it has brought us so many cool words:

Element; Engineer; Evangelism; Everlasting; Extreme; Explosion; Edition; Excellent; Emmanual; Excitement; Equation; Empire; Exodus; and of course Eyeport.

I am on sick leave today. Haha, I can see how God has answered people's prayers. ^_^

Welcome

Welcome my visitors! Please don't forget to comment before you leave here. I love feedbacks...= )
